One (of the many things) I worry about in this process is being approved my insurance. One of the requirements from my insurance is that presence of severe obesity that has persisted for at least the last 2 years (24 months). While I know that I have been, I worried that I wouldn't have proof. There have been periods of time where my BMI may have been too low to qualify, but those instances were BRIEF.
Well, today I got a letter from the clinic stating that they couldn't release my medical records from the last 2 years because there wasn't ANY. WHAT? NOT ANY?
Of course, I call the gal that handles medical records is GONE...until Monday.
Panic mode strikes!
