My BMI 2 years ago was 37.7. It was my understanding that because I had a co-morbidity that I would qualify based on a BMI of 35. Guess because my blood pressure is controlled with meds that it doesn't meet the criteria.
That is crazy!! Will your Dr. call the insurance and talk with them for you? Don't give up! That's what those darn insurance companies WANT you to do! Keep fighting while working on other options!
I'm sorry to hear this Mindy. (Also sorry that I didn't see this until just now). You know where I am if you ever want support/ideas/etc for weight loss.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Did they tell you why you were denied? Stupid insurance companies!!
